Dreadnought
A Dreadnought Guitar is a technical description used to describe the body shape and size of a specific style of acoustic guitar. It was first developed in 1916 by the Martin Guitar Company, and has since been copied by most guitar manufacturers.
I only own one acoustic guitar, which is an Alvarez Dreadnought (Pictured). It was the first guitar I ever owned and it cost me $100 in 1975. Yes, it's a cheapo, but it has always kept its neck straight and it could always stay in tune. I have recently restored the interior of the guitar with a fresh coat of cutting board oil, which has improved the "ringing" quality of the guitar and brought it's sound back to life. Because of this, I wanted to do a quick song which featured my acoustic guitar.

If you've never played a guitar, I can tell you that there is nothing quite like holding one in your hands. A guitar reaches deep into your soul and opens that box of emotions that is otherwise hidden from view. It can bring you to tears, and it can fill you with joy. But mostly, it's like an old friend who never lets you down...........
